In addition to our art prizes, we support of contemporary exhibitions worldwide. To this end, we maintain close cooperation with renowned museums and art institutions – such as the Serpentine Gallery in London, the Vitra Design Museum in Weil am Rhein in Germany, and the Hara Museum in Tokyo.

“Objects of Desire: Surrealism and Design 1924 – Today”
Surrealism was one of the most influential art movements of the 20th century. Until January 19, 2020, the Vitra Design Museum presents the exhibition "Objects of Desire: Surrealism and Design 1924 – Today", with BOSS as the global sponsor. The exhibition highlights how surrealist artists have influenced design over the past 100 years – from furniture and interiors to graphic design, fashion, film and photography.

"Night Fever: Designing Club Culture 1960 – today"
The exhibition "Night Fever: Designing Club Culture 1960 – today" of the Vitra Design Museum in Weil am Rhein, Germany, is on display at the ADAM Design Museum in Brussels from November 2018 through April 2019. As the first exhibition on the history of design club design and culture, it showcases them as synthesis of various arts—interior design, visual art, lighting, music, fashion and performance. HUGO BOSS supports the exhibition as its global sponsor.

2012 | "JEFF KOONS"
HUGO BOSS and Jeff Koons have been on cordial terms for more than fifteen years. In 2012, the company supported the solo exhibition "JEFF KOONS" of the world-famous American artist at Fondation Beyeler in Riehen, Switzerland. Koons's sculptures such as "Balloon Dog" and "Tulips" were displayed among the work of arts. In 1997, HUGO BOSS brought the famous flower sculpture "Puppy" to the opening of the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao.

2015 | "Konstantin Grcic – Panorama"
Konstantin Grcic is one of the most renowned industrial designers of his time. His work and his characteristic furniture designs for notable manufacturers often tread new paths and are distinguished by an industrial aesthetic. In 2015, the Vitra Design Museum dedicated a solo exhibition to him that emphasized central areas of his work. HUGO BOSS supported the exhibition as its global sponsor.

2017 – 2018 | "An Eames Celebration"
Charles and Ray Eames rank among the most significant designers of the twentieth century. Their furniture, films, books, exhibitions and media installations influenced generations of designers. Even now, everyday culture bears their stamp. From September 2017 through February 2018, the Vitra Design Museum presented a wide range from the work of the couple in four simultaneous exhibitions. Inspired by the Eames designs, HUGO BOSS developed a limited BOSS accessories collection with exclusive bags.
2018 | "Snake Eyes"
From June through September 2018, the Deichtorhallen in Hamburg presented a wide-ranging solo exhibition by Charline von Heyl, comprising works from 2005 until now. The German artist, who lives in the United States, is known for her abstract art, collages and graphical works, which feature an enigmatic visual idiom exerting a powerful emotional impact. In 2014 she was nominated for the HUGO BOSS PRIZE.
